Market

An ancient Royal Charter established the traditional Saturday market here in 1205.

Huntingdon’s present-day street markets are part of the character of the town and help to make this an interesting  place to visit.

A number of regular visiting markets bring variety and a vibrant atmosphere to the town throughout the year, such as the ever-popular Chilli Fest.

Traditional markets take place each Wednesday and Saturday in the High Street.

The weekly Traditional Market is organised by Huntingdonshire District Council.
