Premier Travel rolls out Christmas collection for children in care

Posted: Wed, November 14th, 2018

Premier Travel in Huntingdon has launched a Christmas toy appeal for children in care.

Staff at the independent travel agency are appealing for donations of new toys or gifts for its Santa’s Sack campaign, which aims to make Christmas extra special for less fortunate children in the community.

People can pop into the branch, on 45 High Street, to make a donation until 4th December.

A representative from social services will collect the present sack and deliver the gifts to children in local care facilities in time for Christmas Day. Donations can be suitable for babies and children aged up to 16.

Holly Shotter, branch manager, said: “Our Santa’s Sack appeal goes from strength to strength each year. We would love to top last year’s 200 gifts, so all donations – no matter how big or small – are most welcome.”
