Local travel company Premier has been named one of the top 100 companies in Cambridgeshire in a leading annual business report.
The firm – which has been celebrating its 80th anniversary this year – has been ranked at number 41 in the Cambridgeshire Ltd 2016 report of the Top 100 Businesses in the county, which is compiled each year by globally recognised professional services firm Grant Thornton.
Cambridgeshire-based Premier joins a number of well-known and widely recognised companies based in the East of England in the register, which is annually dominated by technology businesses.
Grant Thornton compiles its top 100 based on the most recent publicly available business information based on turnover of the county’s largest companies. Businesses must be based in Cambridgeshire to qualify.
Susan Papworth, Premier’s group managing director, said: “We are honoured to be brushing shoulders with some huge names to be included in the first half of the top 100 businesses in our home county.
“Premier is always looking at ways to improve and grow, and our clients are the highest priority. 2016 has been a fantastic year for us as we are celebrating our 80th birthday, and we are definitely ending it on a high.”
