Premier Travel, Huntingdon, launches Easter campaign for local children

Posted: Tue, March 6th, 2018

Premier Travel in Huntingdon have launched an Easter campaign for Children in Care.

Staff at Premier Travel, based in the High Street, are appealing for donations of chocolate eggs and Easter treats to give to disadvantaged children in the area.

Customers can pop into the branch to make an Easter donation until 21st March, when a representative from social services will collect the gifts ready to deliver to local youngsters in time for Easter. The team is hoping to beat last year’s total of 70 Easter treats.

Holly Shotter, branch manager, said, “We’ve been running an Easter appeal for local children in need for several years now and each year it has gone from strength to strength. Youngsters living in care don’t receive many treats at special occasions such as Easter, so we want to put a smile on their faces and let them know that someone is thinking of them.”

“If you are able to donate an egg or Easter treat – no matter how big or small – it will be gratefully appreciated.”
