Huntingdon Carnival & Live in the Park Festival Weekend

Welcome back to the Huntingdon Carnival together with the very popular music event “Live in the Park” after its amzing success last year following a 14 year break.

Saturday August 12th –  12 noon to 5pm
Sunday August 13th  – 12 noon to 7pm

A new Carnival Queen will be crowned this year after the competition for the Carnival Queen and her court which will take place on Saturday 22nd July 2017 at the Community Space Tesco Extra Abbots Ripton Road, Sapley Huntingdon from 2 – 4pm. For an application form email [email protected]

The procession, which will start at the Market Square at 12 noon, will be headed by the Caledonian Pipes and Drums, local majorettes, Noddy, Urban Dance Studio, Huntingdon and Grafham Lions Club “Lion” along with more who are joining in all the time. The procession ends at the Riverside Park where there will be fairground rides, commercial and community stalls, licensed bar and refreshment facilities.

There will also be varied arena entertainment throughout the day and an open dog show and agility course facilitated by the Cromwell Vets practice.

‘Live in the Park’ on Sunday will feature many local bands and solo artists beginning at 12 noon. Already confirmed for the line up on stage are Jessica Davis, Robin and Caitlyn, Chris Fox, Black Jack, Deja Vue, Mizmerize, Zero Charm.

All this will take place along with the fair, the stalls and refreshments.
