Visitors and businesses in Huntingdon can now make use of a free App to download and find savings and offers throughout the town.

LoyalFree, the digital app for towns, has joined forces with Huntingdon First, the marketing arm of BID Huntingdon, with the aim to boost footfall in the town by making offers and savings easier to access via a downloadable App.

Founders of multi-award winning phone app LoyalFree, Jason Nesbitt and Sophie Hainsworth, set up LoyalFree two years ago with the intention of boosting business for shops across the UK through an online loyalty scheme. Following a period of impressive growth they have now joined forces with BID Huntingdon.

LoyalFree, which is entirely self-funded, is an innovative digital loyalty scheme which helps businesses attract new customers via a profile showcasing their offers, reviews, images and more. It pulls together all the vital information for an area, allowing users to benefit from using just one app for the whole of the UK.

Jason, who created the app said, “Launching LoyalFree in Huntingdon gives us a great opportunity to see our app used in a quickly developing town. We are excited to support the local businesses here and engaging potential new customers for them.”

The App is funded by BID Huntingdon and is free to BID Huntingdon levy paying businesses who will gain from advertising in the local area, customer insights and social media support. A local guide will also help visitors with vital tourism information while an events section will showcase activities in the town. Businesses already on board include Anytime Fitness, Music Street, Pizza Express, The Barber’s Den and Point Recruitment.

Sue Wing, Manager of BID Huntingdon, added, “This innovative partnership gives Huntingdon the opportunity to increase footfall and encourage people to shop local. It’s a great digital platform for businesses to reach new and existing customers.”
