Christmas comes to Huntingdon | Lights Switch On + SNOW!

Join the festivities in the town centre for fun and seasonal spirit! Everyone can get their wish-list in nice and early as Father Christmas will be in his festive Grotto. HCR104fm will be linking the activities with a live broadcast from the Market Square.
Christmas Lights Switch On Events
1pm – 5.30pm
Celebrate the run up to Christmas with an afternoon of festivity in the Market Square with HCR104fm broadcasting LIVE with appearances from Huntingdon Male Voice Choir singing LIVE at intervals throughout the afternoon. The Huntingdon Live Nativity ‘Welcome to Bethlehem’ is making an appearance courtesy of Churches Together who invite you to visit the stable and feed the animals. Then browse the community stalls, take a ride on the fairground rides and hop on the Playbus for an afternoon full of fun.
Lights and SNOW!
Join Father Christmas and the Mayor along with a real LET IT SNOW cannon and a spectacular laser light show followed by the switch on of the Christmas lights.
1pm – 5.00pm
Free face painting, Free balloons from Dave the Balloon Man, Stilt walker and BID Bear in Christmas costume
Father Christmas will be in his Grotto in St Benedicts Court accompanied by his Elves who will help you make decorations and post your letter to Santa ready for the big day!
Food stalls including traditional roasted chestnuts.
And don’t forget there are lots of shops open from 10am to 4pm and parking is FREE
