Healthy and happy children make a healthy and happy future and I dearly hope that you will enjoy participating in our various fundraising games and events.

CHUMS Charity supports children and young people from 3 to 18. We offer clinical and therapeutic services when a young person experiences low self-esteem, anxiety, bullying and bereavement, for example.  We have supported thousands of children and young people over the last 22 years in Bedfordshire and have been offering an Emotional Wellbeing Service and Recreational Therapeutic Football and Music programmes since 1st January 2018 in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.  Further funding is needed to enable these programmes to take place for the numbers of children that need support.

Businesses both large and small as well as schools, colleges and community groups are coming up with some great fundraising event ideas. Many of these also have the benefit of team-bonding and a sense of working together for a common goal. Personal development is always on-going in our lives and lots of that can be included here too.

Would one of these ideas work well in your organisation?

  • CHUMS collection boxes in Reception and Canteen areas
  • Dress down day
  • Cake bake sale
  • Office karaoke
  • Golf tournament
  • Quiz event
  • Music/Theatre evenings
  • The Workplace Buffet (created by staff)
  • Talent competitions
  • Dinner and dance evenings
  • Lemonade stall for customers
  • Board game tournament
  • Raffle and competitions using donated prizes
  • Car boot sale
  • Individual/team one off sponsorship events
  • CHUMS volunteer collection box collectors with appropriate permissions
  • Community / corporate volunteering

Please let me know your thoughts and I will be happy to assist with your fundraising plans.
With sincere thanks and kind regards
Rob Grant
